Figured I'd show off the sub-specie's differences. c:
Raavi, Rikki and Havalli are all desert Aleta. Elna is tundra, and Agnes is Mountain.

The ones in my profile painting are gladiators, and therefore have tails that have been cut off to lessen entanglement.

This is really cool! What subspecies would Leila be? I think tundra as a guess. I'm trying to think up suitable clothes for her environment.

Aha thank you so much!!! I really appreciate your input! I had no idea that they could get confused. Yeah the eyes are that bright, you can see them watching back from up in the trees, Its can get kind of unnerving, but all in all they are really pretty.

No, she'd be desert. I generally try to remember the proportions of the subspecies, but when in doubt, look at the colors. Tundra varieties tend to be darkly colored to absorb sunlight and keep themselves warmer. She's more of a lighter color, you know?
