Like, I don't understand at all. Why is someone using the term gay so lightly? Why are they the ones who tried to make a joke about it, but get mad when people are calling them out? Isn't it wrong in the first place?
Like, if you think that using the term gay in a joke is supposed to be funny?

I never had that problem because I have classrooms of friends at school, but I only confide in one of them out of all. I joke around a lot but I don't call people gay. I joke about it but not badly, and I have gay friends so I'm careful. People make fun of stuff like your friend does when they don't know what they're saying. You can tell him to look back on what he is doing and if he has any sense, he'll see he's being really stupid. Either tha, or he's an immature kid who found a new word to use and is throwing it about, thinking he's cool. And as for yur personal stuff, I don't know because when I was 6, someone annoyed me and I framed them for stuff and they never knew who it was, and I had the line push, got in front of that person, 'fell down the stairs' and said that person pushed me. Maybe tell him that you're upset about the personal info.

I used to have this problem back in elementary school, but it started to stop since gay is the norm now. I have a few friends who are gay and I like to hang around with them, but that doesn't mean i'm gay. People just say that because they are immature and found a new word to make other people mad and make them more popular. It's just sick and wrong to treat other people that way. But if they talk about you in the social media as well, then that crosses the line. I bet you herd this a couple of time but I think it's best to tell someone this before it gets out of hand. That's all I can say really and sorry if this isn't much help.

The only thing I can say is that you need to find new people that are more honest and nice. A friend doesn't do those kinds of things , thats not your friend. but becareful with social media and try hard to ignore the insults. I wish and pray good luck for you
