Verstia is between 20-22 years old, so she's young. She's a noble from Plegia, but she left because she hated what Gangrel did to Exalt Emmeryn; she's very scarred by that event. After that, she left to Ylisse in hopes of helping mend things between the kingdoms, but she knew it most likely wouldn't work. Nonetheless, she joined the Ylissean army and was assigned as a royal guard. She's a dark flyer instead of a falcon knight because she can't handle blood. The only time she handles blood is in battle; however, shortly after battle, Verstia has to excuse herself so she can have a panic attack in peace. lol

On duty, she's loyal, brave, and doesn't talk much.
Off duty, she's kind, sweet, but also rather shy, as she knows Plegians aren't always welcome.

Her shyness can often be mistaken for her being gloomy and upset, which is why people tend to walk up to her and try to cheer her up by saying:
"Not everything from Plegia is as bad as its reputation."

However, this only makes Verstia even MORE shy, and people tend to walk away after that lol. If you're kind to her, though, she'll stealthily try to repay the favor. (ex. mysterious extra helping of dessert, extra protection in battle, etc.)
