Feeling compared to the big cheeses.. by AreoAnts
Although I WILL admit that I'm exaggerating for my side, it is a bit true. I try to draw for the internet, for the little attention I can get (sort of like my last picture, though I was at that time doing it as troll bait and furry haters... which failed miseribly). Then I go and look at AquaMutt, who seems to gain likes all because she (or he, I forget) posted something. Meanwhile, I see artists on par, if not better than AquaMutt (IMO, such as Razer8), and they go barely to not recognized.

Aquamutt has made a lot of friends here and people visit her gallery regularly so there are some politics involved that go beyond just art posted. Though that's not a good reason to single her out since she hasn't done anything wrong. Just keep improving your painting and make nice and helpful comments on other's works.

Alright, I'll add this in then, I'm using her as an EXAMPLE, not someone to single-out. She's yes, actually good. But there is more to it than just that. Trust me, I've seen worse end up becoming popular (like for one, Cinos, which was poorly drawn, yet still ended up getting into the rotation and all that.) At least though, saaytin did does have a cool tip'n all that.

ikr? then they run away with there popularty to Da which has a million virises and trolls way worse then here and say it sucks when there are plenty of good patient artists waitin to be discovered who are loyal and wont leave but all the popular beloved artists leave! grrrrrrrrr makes me mad but i love it here

AquaMutt's a quitter. DA is MUCH MUCH worse, and she won't quit whining. If you don't have a lot of fans, you don't give up, no matter what happens. AquaMutt just satisfied all her trolls, and people whining about it makes it better for them.

dont worry you're not the only one. i spent hours on one of my pics and i only got 3 likes. and im not trying to be mean but i know im better than a lot of people on here especialy aquamutt

i just post for fun really :3 i do get really happy if i get some stars but sometimes i feel kinda left out when i look at really good and popular artists on here....it makes me try to work harder X3
