As she fell, she noticed a ledge slightly out of hre reach where her friend had fallen. "Are you kidding me! What kind of ending is thiiiiisss--" She yelled as she fell to what she believed to be her demise. Some say you can still here her screams from the entrance of the cave.

Oh and remember that Nahli's wings don't actually work, and this is before either of them got their powers and before she got the ears. So no, there are no plot holes here (yet) and she can has the ability to pull them (wings) in and out when she wants to. "It pretty painful"
