Thank you for your support, everyone, it means a lot to me! ... the thing is not so much that I didn´t win, it´s more about what pictures actually did win from all those amazing entries. It´s just that I feel the result should have been different ... The drawing with the chinese dragon for example - the artist spent more than 8 hours on it if I rememer correctly ...

Yeah... i know how you feel. i stopped contesting for a,while, but then i got bored... cause i wanted to think about ideas beyond my own. i got bored, but im still glad i drew something. it was the effort that mattered to me. on a side note the judging is completly messed up because of the way fans vote. the acess isnt broadcasted enough- equally for other artists. its a bit of anmelitist thing- everybody will root for one because their on their daily art feed.

yours should've been in the top three,its one of my favorite entries i've seen in a contest for a long time. if i was one of the judges i would have picked yours than that one that came in second place. : /

The thing is - wc226 was also won by Kjumper. I do admire his/her art and I really don´t wanna blame Kjumper in any way but the prize you can win at this is something you only need once and they said in the description they used the X-stylus-pen-thingy to draw the winning picture.
The picture that placed second is good - but nothing special if I might express it like that. Also, it is the only picture the artist has submitted. Who knows who this person is and why they joined just to participate this contest?
The one that placed 3rd is good, no question. But it was not originally created for this contest. In the official rules of the contest it says that no picture created before the topic of the contest is announced is allowed to participate - in order to MAKE SURE that only pices made FOR THE CONTEST may participate, I take it. Also this judging by one person, namely the winner of the last contest ... I think it´s legit but not very objective - hence not very fair.

Hey, so I read your concerns, and I do agree, I suppose I mainly enter because I enjoy the competition, I won't enter any for quite a while if that helps. I don't really know what else to say other than your art really is amazing, and I'm sure you will win one soon.

I feel for ya there. I can compleatly understand the feeling as well. :( In regards to this particular contest.... I can see why KJumper's pic got among the winners as it portays the theme in an interesting way. The second place pic... it does have a nice profile of a dragon, and the dragon does look "old".... Though pic 3 looks more like a sci-fi alien and doesn't really make me think of "ancent dragons". *-) ...

Personally... I was thinking Fading's idea wouls have made it into the top 3 as it acuratly displayed the theme and told it from a uniqe way. Your picture was also very well done and reminded me of the theme very well....

I might have judged the contest a little differently myself. *-) Regardless of winning or not, it still inspired an awesome picture. :3

I think Kjumpers picture deserved to win, it was amazing!
And I also liked Fadinglory´s idea, I think it was it pretty nice interpretation of the topic c:
You bet I would have judged different, since my favourite was actually the one by Hannimal Crossing ...
