Whiskerfrost is a very harsh cat. He dislikes others ignorance and failure and points them out harshly. He dislikes kits for the reason that they're useless and annoying (in his opinion). He's very skilled in his duty and always takes it seriously this is why he is assumed to be 'grumpy' at times.
