Once you get both the game and DLC, play the game until you complete all the tutorial stuff. (When it lets you go off on your own)

Then go to the Guild Office and go the far back to find 3 NPCs. Talk to each of them to activate the features. Street Pass, Ally Mode (Messenger) and Multiplayer Mode.

Once you activate Ally Mode. Click on the button that appears on the touchscreen. Then go to Options and then Friend Options. You'll be able to add me and Angel from the list.

REMEMBER: We can only communicate if you have the DLC, so get that first before you start playing.

ok how do i get the DLC?

Once you open the game, you'll see two options

-Start Game
-Add Content

choose Add Content

message me once you have Ally Mode activated and added me. And once you have Multiplayer activated too. I'll let you visit me and I'll let you leech off me :)

(That means you stay close and get experience from all my kills.)
