So, Beginning and End were brother and sister. Their parents dying sooner than expected aswell as them. However, when they died they had asked Queenie if they could remain in the Lockkey world so they could help others in need of it. They can be seen unless they make themselves transparent.
End was originally Sarah, but was given the nickname of End. She was given this name because she visits the dreams of those who will soon die. Then many have made it that "the end is near". And Buddy was renamed Beginning since he visits newborns and mothers.
However, they can only be in one place at once so they cant help every single Lockkey.
