Hands aren't too bad!
Here's my process.
1) Draw a quick sketch of how you want it to look.
2) Sketch in the joints as small circles. (Two in the thumb, three in the fingers.)
3) Outline it, making sure the joints are correct.
4) ???
5) Hands!
