Ferret body by Cyllya

The arch of the spine is usually more visible when they're walking because their back legs are straightened.

They are plantigrade at least on the front legs, meaning they walk with their whole "hands" on the ground. For comparison, dogs and cats essentially walk on their toes (digitrade) so the metacarpal area (palm of hand) seems more like part of the leg instead of the paw.
Brown on the top ferret is the body shape without fur.

Rib cage is long. Pelvis is small.
