I studied ferrets. Here is what I learned in case it's useful. (Please add tips if you have them.) This applies to domesticated ferrets only, not to other species called ferret.
*Not rodents. They are in order carnivora, family mustelidae (like weasels, wolverines[!], otters, etc)
*They kind of look like tiny stretched out bears.
*Ears are lower and more to the front than I thought. Eyes too.
Bottom three in the pic are supposed to be Waardenburg syndrome.

Me personalitly make the ears a little bit other, because i think in the first moment it was a mouse. But it´s just a personal point ;) I love how you draw ferrets!
