When I first played classic mode on EOU (I have two files on two different SD cards, the second card has the classic mode file), I looked at the male blonde Survivalist & thought "He reminds me of Ivan... (EOIV Ivan)" & then I randomly gave him the name Darneckel & came up with a backstory for him, which actually is part of Ivan's future.
Darneckel is Ivan, reincarnated after spending 5 hundred years dead (I imagine EOU that many years after EOIV).

He got tired of being a ghost & watching other souls come & go so he reincarnated himself (began a new life).
He was turned into a 15-year-old named "Darneckel" & had amnesia when he reincarnated himself (IRONY), but regained his memories about his past life after meeting a boy named Stone who reminded him of his cousin (& he actually IS Slate's reincarnation- he secretly remembers his past life too, but hides it).
Verde found him 2 years after it happened & asked why on earth he did this to himself (See quote above) & Darneckel told him to leave him alone & that he wasn't coming back till he died again.
Darneckel is a bit more mature & serious than his past self. He also drinks wine as a hobby (but he drinks a special purifier so he won't have it in his body later/won't be addicted or at harm) & tends to use his scarf to cover up the lower part of his face. But he still maintains some of his original personality.
I'll draw him later to explain more & something else. Enjoy! :D
