Instead or running with Johnny, Ponyboy then tells Soda and Darry what Johnny did. Soda tells Ponyboy to turn themselves in, Darry tells him to not tell ANYONE else what they have done, even other Greasers. Ponyboy denies Darry's advice because he is still mad. On his way to the police, Pony meets up with Cherry and she tells him not to do this. Johnny agrees but Pony just keeps walking. After that, Johnny is then killed by the electric chair. Ponyboy was sentenced for life. Ponyboy dies. #MLP
