From a small distance, the assassin just stares with crossed arms and watches as the Taguel goes her way. For him, this species was rather controverse - they talked like humans, which was a not rather good aspect sometimes since humans mostly talk trash, but they also could turn into giant rabbits. And rabbits were fluffy and not intimidating at all. ~I wonder if she'll let me touch her ears~, he silently wonders as his eyes follow her movements.

Bec's ears twitched. ~What?? I thought everyone was back at camp..~ 'Is anyone there?' He called out

Silently pushing himself away from the tree he was leaning on, he got up to step out of the shadows. "I was wondering if anybody was still out here", he said in a neutral tone. Nobody had to know he always watched the last one go back to the camp to make sure there were no attacks on them.

'GE EZ' bec stepped back a little, before tripping. Reaching for his beaststone he yelled, 'IM ARMED!' But unfortunately..his voice cracked, ,aking him sound a lot less fierce. (Rip bec)

(I just tend to misread everything. dunno why. XD)
Jaffar just sighed and stopped next to him, offering his hand to help him up. "I'm not with Plegia anymore", he simply said, looking at the Taguel calmly.
(I just had to imagine the most adorable voice squeaking 'I'M ARMED' and now I can't stop laughing.)

Letting out a long sigh he reached for Jaffar's hand. "Sorry...Just a little surprised !! I should have known it wasn't an enemy, their weapons drag on the ground. I should have listened harder.." He sheepishly smiled and placed his beaststone back in his pocket. Getting up, he wiped himself off. "Anywho, nice to meetcha! I'm Bec." (incase you dont wanna do a meeting thing:) "So, what're you doing out here? I thought you were back at camp?"

(I'M ARMED WITH... kitties. They are everywhere. I have too many cats where did they all come from)
"...I tend to stay back to be alone for some time." Jaffar closed his eyes for a second, looking around. "And to avoid the usual talking about betraying the army. As that might've told you, I'm Dzhafar. Previous assassin of Plegia."

"Nice to meetcha, Dzhafar!! I hope we can be friends!" He had a big dopey grin on his face. He stuck out his hand, expecting a handshake. Though he had a smile, he had a bit of a pit in his stomach, remembering all the Plegia troops he had to fight..and cut down. He couldn't help but be a little remorseful.

(My whole family is so obsessed with cats. There's one on my lap, one on my brother's lap and one on the tile stove rn. XD)
He brought himself to smile a little bit, although he knew it always seemed fake when he tried. "I'm not really used to having friends, but I guess it's worth a try." He gripped Bec's hand and shook it for a second.
(also how do you usually handle it with conversations? So, when to put an end on the C-convo and start the B one etc.)

(No problem at all! Because this just kinda looked like a nice end for the C-conversation to me. We can start the B one right away too, just need another situation and such. XD)

"Bec." Jaffar just stood right next to him, as if he'd appear out of nowhere again. One of his rather unpopular habits since it mostly scared people to death.

(alright!)
Upon hearing his name, and a sudden presence near him, he shrieked and dropped his beaststone. "N AGA SAVE M- Oh! Dzhafar?! I am so sorry!! I was so distracted.." He tried to gain his composure, picking up his stone. "S-so what's up?" His face was pretty red by now.

"Oh... I'm sorry I surprised you." The assassin looked at Bec a second before he took a deep breath. "This may sound a bit strange, but... can I touch your ears?"

Bec stopped wiping his stone and turned to face him. "My ears? Well sure, but I haven't groomed them in a while.." He rubbed the back of his head.

Without another word, Jaffar just touched his ears for a second, softly running his fingers through the fur. "...I hope this doesn't insult you in any way, I just always thought animals were a lot nicer than humans. But you're both and- I, uh, probably should stop talking."

He chuckled "It's okay!! I haven't had anyone touch my ears in a while, so it's pretty nice!!" All of Bec's earlier tension had just disappeared. He let out a sigh and relaxed. (taguels must be so fun for him : D)

"You... think so?" Jaffar tilted his head slightly and blinked as he scratched the ears carefully. "...I just always rather talked to horses or even the wyvern where I had a job. They weren't so... judgmental."
(I can just imagine him going to hug all the horses and be all awkward around the taguel because he doesn't know if he could hurt them in any way with his words. c: )

"Well..it's true, but then again, they can't talk!" He gave a toothy grin. "But I can see why they like you, you pet so well!" He chuckled and flicked his ears a bit. (i can imagine him chasing a taguel in beast form yellin 'I WANT TO HUG YOOOOOU')

"Uhm, thanks?", he said in a rather unsure voice. Bec seemed to be pretty cool about him talking about the toguel like this. "I'm glad I ended up here... instead of finishing my last few jobs."

(like real rabbits, they run)
"Need some help? I needa do something, or i'll be so bored, i'll just die." His eyes were shining, and his tail was almost wagging.

("Awh.")
"Oh, I guess I could use some help scouting the territory. It gets a bit boring all on myself." He smiled again for a second, this time it looked rather genuine.
(if you wanna add something do so, but I'll guess that'd be a good end for conversation B owo We can continue with A right away too. XD)

"Yessir!!" He saluted and followed Jaffar.

As he looked up to the sky, the assassin sighed shortly. The night was breaking again, everybody was drawing back. The perfect time for him to make his last round. Or maybe not quiet last, tonight was as restless as always. "New moon, huh", Dzhafar mumbled as he walked on.

Bec heard the sound of footsteps. ~Everyone's at camp, so maybe it's Jaffar!!~ He used his beaststone to transform and went as fast as he could toward the sounds.

With a silent sigh the assassin sat down under one of the trees, just staring at the sky. The color it had right now was calming to him. "What a nice evening."

Smirking, the giant rabbit hit behind a nearby bush. ~He won't know what's coming..hehehe~ He braced himself and slowly walked behind Jaffar, making sure to be quiet as possible.

He inhaled the cold evening air deeply before he let his head sink against a tree. There were no risen nearby as he saw it, so maybe he could relax for a second.
As soon as he closed his eyes, a sudden wave of memories flooded through him, making him wince as he lifted his head again. "...Not this again", he mumbled, rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand.

(Im gonna feel so bad for this omg)
Bec got his bunny face really close to Jaffar's ear and yelled "BOO!!"

With a swift move the assassin turned around, pulling a dagger from his belt, stopping it just right in front of Bec's neck. Gasping, the weapon flew to the ground just one second after that. "I... I'm so sorry... I thought nobody was nearby", he started, trying to calm himself again.
("Why don't you ever play pranks on him"
"Last time someone tried this he almost died"
"Oh")

("IM SOOORRYYY")
"D-don't be sorry." He sat down. "It was rude of me to scare you.." He rubbed his neck to make sure there were not scratches. "I'm sorry..I shouldn't have freaked you out like that..I'll be more careful next time." His ears flattened, and he bowed his head.

He took a deep breath again, just hugging the taguel in front of him. "You couldn't have known. It's just... I have a rather complicated history. I learned how to kill way too early. And now I can't forget about it... it's made me cautious about everyone. That's why I always preferred the company of animals over humans. They... they are much more human than some of them will ever be."

"Oh gods..I wish I had known.." Doing his best, he tried to hug the shorter form with his weird rabbit arms. He chuckled softly. "I wish I'd known..I'm so sorry. I hope I didn't stir anything negative." He pat the assassin's head, hoping to comfort him.

"Oh no, that was just a reflex." Dzhafar slowly let go of him again, smiling for a second. "I'm glad I got to meet you of all people."

Bec tilt his head and smiled. "I'm so glad you decided to come here." ~He has some pretty good damn reflexes woah~

For a moment, he just closed his eyes and smiled genuinely. Something he hadn't done in a while. Then he turned around and leaned back onto the tree. "I'm... maybe a bit exhausted at the moment too."

"Well, you have been fighting all day. Plus, it's pretty late and you're STILL patrolling!" Bec laughed. "Give yourself a break sometime." He lied down next to the assassin.

"Huh, you're right..." He looked up to the sky for one last time, then he simply let himself fall to the side, cuddling himself into the soft fur.
(tired assassins and fluffy bunnies. much cute.)

Bec snickered. "Who knew he could be such a softie." He put his head down and began to snore.
