I think the select and copy/paste would be excellent for fixing the many, many times that I draw on the wrong layer. Pointed brushes would be impossible, since those are done with pressure sensitivity or having to set the length between the "ends" of the stroke. Having it generate the shape from a freehand stroke would make Colors lag even worse. A square brush, however, would work. A blur tool would increase lag as well, and blending's easy once you get the hang of it.
Something I want is a special mode where the playback isn't recorded. This would be great for making a really good painting to export rather than having to rush some parts just to keep it in the playback limit so you can export to a decent size.

i feel it already has a blur tool... and i believe Colors is fine
