re: I explained it in the comic (Chapter 0 part 4/4) he uses a sort of photosythesis but instead of sunlight he eats darkness and shadows :y

Great! We couldn't do the whole thing, only about 4 miles. We hiked in quite a few inches of snow after all! :0
My mom got sick though.. :(
