my friend and I used to do it sometimes, so I have an idea of what to do, but you should explain it just so i know i'm doin it right

Ok well, first off, an RP can be about ANYTHING. I personally like adventure RPs full of action and emotion and surrealism, like a fiction novel. Of course, there are also people that like romance RPs and fighting RPs and all kinds of other types. Second, there are different ways to describe the action and the diologue. I'll show you these different ways through examples.
Example 1: She walked up to her good friend. "Hey!"
Example 2: *She walked up to her good friend* Hey!
I'm sure there are other ways, but these are the most common. Finally, if you want to talk outside of the RP, you can use slashes // or parentheses (( on both sides. Example: ((Hey, good job on your last drawing!))
*She walked up to him*
Also, you don't have to use 2 parentheses or slashes if you don't want to. Lastly, the most important rule is to have fun^^ Now, my favorite way to RP, just so you know, is by using stars to describe actions * and slashes to talk out of context //. I'm sorry this turned out so long!

Yep^^ Are you gonna use a male character or a female? I usually use female since my male characters seem like girls when I RP anywayX3 Also, for RP, there are different writing styles too. I use narrative. Ex. *She/Tiffany walked down the street* Others use first person. Ex. *I walked down the street* The most common I see is what I call 'casual' RP. Ex. *Walks down the street* You can use whatever works best for you^^

I'll use a girl c: and yeah i'll use the casual thing, it's what my friend and i did

//It's about these characters who are stuck in a /living/ prison called Incarceron. The prison is basically like another world, with vegatation, animals, climate changes, and, of course people. The prison is omnisient, and acts like a god figure in the prison. If it wants you dead, you're dead. It controls everything. It tells the story of 3 teenage/young adults named Finn, Keiro (Now you know where I got the name for my OC>.<), and Attia who try to escape the prison and go through all the horrors of doing so. It's /awesome/.//

It could be quite humorous, actuallyXD I don't take RPs too seriously, so I don't think anyone's bad at RPing... Unless they use text lingo and reply with stupid sh*t like 'grrr'. I've seen people do itXD You're not like that, though. So, you're a good RPer in my book^^ But if you're not comfortable with that kind of RP, don't let me pressure into doing one, ok? >.<

Ok then^^ The setting is a big city, heavily polluted and full of shady people. Cross-Stitch hangs out in the dark shadows of this city, waiting to find her next victim. She torments people psychologically, and if she gets her hands on you she'll leave a cut with stitches somewhere on your body. She does these things for entertainment purposes only. Her background is unknown, and how she got the stitches all over her body is not known for sure, but researchers think she gave herself the stitches. As far as the Xs on her eyes, nobody knows how she got them or how she can see with them. She goes by Cross-Stitch and no other name. Also, her voice, despite her appearance, is described as beautiful. She can sing very well. People think she used to be happy and beautiful, until her downward spiral. Any questions?

how does she torment them phsycologically?

She messes with their heads. If she knows things about you, she'll use what she knows against you. As an example, if she knows you have low self esteem and never feel good enough, she'll torment people to their lowest point. If she knows nothing about you, she'll try to find out what she can. Once she has you at your lowest point, she'll put the stitches in your skin as a symbol that her work is done. After this, you have a choice. This is where it gets to a whole complicated mind game. Some people choose to accept her and willingly let her hang around with them. Some people get away from her, and she never torments them again because she got bored with them. Some people spend their lives trying to kill her/arrest her. There's many choices, depending on how your mind works. In a fictional sense, I'd stay with her and be 'frenemies'. Other people, however, wouldn't. Also, she won't hurt you anymore after her 'work is done'. She does these things purely for her entertainment, so (cont.)

After she's done she doesn't feel the need to torment you anymore. If you decide to be her friend after it's all over, she'll open up to you and show you her true personality. This is where it can get humorous, by the wayXD And... That's all I can think of as far as that goes.
