They actually just play around with the lighting. The true colors are black and blue. There are three different pictures going around the internet of the same dress, but each one has different lighting. One pic makes the dress look white and gold. The other makes people uncertain of the true color because it looks gold, white, blue, black because of lighting tricks. The third pic is the original one with no changes in lighting at all, making its true colors black and blue
