HONESTLY, I LOVE FEED BACK. PLEASE TELL ME -THINGS YOU LIKE ABT MY ART! -THINGS U DONT! -THINGS I CAN CHANGE/IMPROVE! LITERALLY TELL ME ANYTHING I CAN DO TO IMPROVE PLEASE!!
being one who hasnt really 100percent figured out their own style and 1hundred percent used to it, i am noone to come up with critiques but i do know that your art is awsome and hilarious
It's hard to get deep critiques on colors but I'll try. You seem to have a good grasp on your own art style. The mix of colors and the value contrast you do is great. But it seems you don't "expiriment"with different style. Even if you like your own art style, learning others can help build on to your current one. Now a days I don't see much lineless or heavy thick shaded art styles. It look like you have done in the past but it is good to keep it current. Overall you draw various things which is good. Some of your artwork however is just them posing. Art that catches the eye is art that tells a story. Your shiny braixen is an example of a story. The expression and the pose is not only a post but tells a story in a way. Makes things more life like. The idea of expressing emptions in your artwork can help stretch your understanding of faces, poses and much more. Even if the picture is just the center character posing, I reccoment adding an meaning full expression in their face.-Cont.
-For example your Pit and Shulk reading a book picture. You could of put a blanker expression on their faces but instead you put emotions in their eyes and mouths. I see you still do this sometimes but I would like to see you keep it up. Don't let it slip because the small details can help paint a picture to your audience. I love how you use pastels and your simiplicity in some paintings add to them. I want to see you keep trying new concepts and keep up the ones you do. These are more of ways to expand your artwork. You already have a grasp of these things I mentioned. I want to see you elaborate on them more. I'm probably rambleing so I'm a going to go. My opinion yada.
I love your art. Everything you draw has amazing shading or comedy! But I kind disliked how that you draw Shelly and Courtney as a ga.y couple :(
Also, To get more attraction, You should try a comic series or draw a character that's popular on a show or video game. (except pokemon, you draw that way too much)
Also, You should try realisric art like make a character look real or make a realistic fictional human.
Also try different styles. Don't use the same style alot.
OK YOU ARE SO MUCH BETTER THAN ME ARTISTICALLY ON EVERY LEVEL SO I AM IN NO PLACE TO DO THIS OK DISCLAIMER OVER OK so... your animals/pokemon and colors are ON POINT, always. Like DAMN, nice!! If there was something you could improve on... your humans, I guess! Ok, so, they're really awesome and they look great so I'm not saying they're bad because they are not!!!! The only thing is that they are heavily stylized. I think it would benefit to practice drawing people from life and/or learning anatomy. Drawing humans the way you are now is totally fine, I just think trying realism a bit would help, too!
If you want a specific example, you could try drawing hair by the strand instead of the outline! And/or you could try using multiple colors (so like, gold with light brown with different light brown) in the hair instead of one flat color with shade.
Ok I hoped I maybe helped or something I guess!! (I had to LOOK for things I didn't like lol)
You're pretty good with posture and expression, and our choice of color scheme looks nice.
Your backgrounds or backdrops lack detail though. Maybe try to add a bit more design/patterns to the background to spice it up a little.
And if you don't mind me asking, you've been following my Gallery for a while now, but have never left a comment or critique on any of my paintings. Could you please return the favor?
Ok, I never critiqued anyone before, but I'll try the best I can.
Well to start of, your drawing style can range from silly, cute, calming, and even exciting. I mean, your way of drawing facial expressions is so amusing, it feels like the character is having a special/intense moment in it's life, and I like that. And your choice of pastel and light colors gives that relaxing feeling to the picture. But I think you should give some darker colors a try. Your shading style is also very spot-on, it would be great if you did that more often. (unless it takes too much of your time) The fur detail can look "roundish" sometimes, but it's not really a big deal and gives the character a soft impression.
Um...That's all I could say for you. Thanks for reading this and keep improving! ;)
