I had the idea to make a painting depicting how I like just about all genres of music, from classical to dubstep. The blue glow with the fire-colored bars represents mixing contrasting genres. I've seen composers do this, and it's amazing when they pull it off well. I extended the glow all the way up because I needed something better for the background.
The only genre I don't like is country...
