Why do you choose portrait orientation, not landscape? Landscape is so much bigger and full screen, you miss out on detail in portrait (my opinion) I'm curious to hear your response I've only done 1 portrait piece in Colors 3D
@Simeon: Y'know, I've been asking myself that same question. I find myself fascinated by this format for some reason. I seem to find more visual satisfaction from scanning up and down with my eyes, rather than side to side. Keep in mind also, that on the website, the portrait size looks bigger, not widescreen. Also, the contrarian side of me knows that portrait format paintings are less "popular", and therefore more appealing. Thanks for the question. I hope I answered it adequately.

Is the title off a song by Capital Cities or was just based of the phrase "safe and sound"?
This is an amazing painting
