Yeah I'm not a huge fan of anime or furries, so roughly ninety percent of Colors I find uninteresting.

OMGEEE thank you for this!!! I thought I was the only one too! Colors is dying indeed because it didnt always used to be like this...I remember back in twenty-twelve when I was on my old account I would see sooo many different paintings with plenty of realism now and then and diversity. I took a super long break after I started this account and seems like ever since I came back in late twenty-thirteen, anime was everywhere! I also think this is a result of the many good artists that left colors, never to come back...And yes, I would totally start a trend like passtherealism, restorecolors, or something like that. Lately I have been trying out realistic manga to stand out a little. Now and then I would paint something realistic. I admit I really regret taking that long break because colors seems like it wont be the same again ;-; The word needs to be spread...

Here's my two cents no one will read: A lot of kids have great talent but instead of setting themselves apart they keep to anime style art. Anime is good, but... stylize people! you have the skill for it! thats all, I shouldn't have bothered.

I liked the background so I kept it like that.

And I got prints for the gallery and I made the painting I did for you a print as well.
That one I'll keep for myself, it's in A3 and the paper should not be bent or it could break so for now I'm keeping it in a case.

Hello SeaGlass. First off, I think this comic is hilarious and true. I think people should reserve posts for quality. Not quantity. Secondly, I would like to thank you for being awesome. Your comments are always the nicest and most thoughtful. I feel I owe you a thanks. :) I'm absolutely horrible at replying to comments so I feel a bit bad for being so quiet about your awesome pieces of art. They contain thought and quality. I love the 3rd panel, it is soooooo funny! I must confess that I started off drawing anime as a kid, but after a while I wished to formulate a more-distinct style. Truly, there is anime that is intricate, lovely, and adorable! Nor do I mind how very concentrated colors is with it, but I understand that taste seems rather bias.

I almost wish I didn't agree with this as much as I do.
