Dividia junk by Neiiro

The Lighthouse was an invention created by this guy and 3 others. They intended it to help people, but a Corrupt Government Official saw its potiential for devastation and seized it for warfare (it was made in the middle of a war, I should mention). they unleashed it against their enemies, and it didn't work as planned. The blast radius was huge, and a dark shadow covered the entire planet. People now call this the Lighthouse Effect //continued in comments// #dividia

Whereever the Lighthouse was strongest, time stopped completely, and lands were entirely devoured by darkest. Millions upon millions were killed by The Lighthouse, and the inventors and the general were all thought to have died in the blast as well.
The Lighthouse Effect eventually receded on its own, taking parts of the world with it. It completely changed the planet's geography, at that. It did, however, achieve its original purpose; stopping the war.
Years and years later, there are still places where the lighthouse has not completely receded. These are places people are forebidden to entire. Their interiors look like a warped nightmarish reality.
Anyhow, a little further into the future is Olivieth and her family. Olivieth's mother and younger sister were killed in an...avalanche? Is that the right word? It's when boulders fall. Olivieth and the guy I drew here are Best Friends, he's always caring for this tree that's a little outside his house and that's when Olivieth talks vvv

to him and junk. And one day he goes missing, the only trace he leaves behind is an old journal that he's been writing in for years.
Olivieth decides to search for him, and ends up going to all the locations he describes in the book.
Then she discovers that he was one of the builders of the Lighthouse and that he found out that someone was attempting to recreate it and its devastation.
The person trying to recreate it (whose named ive also forgotten) was the owner of a musuem, a counterpart of sorts to the Library of Eons, which contains books from the Beginning of Time, aka when humans first came to the planet.
The musuem owner became very interested in the Lighthouse and its effects, but there's also more junk (of which I'm still figuring out) and using their Dark Powers*, they bonded the soul of another person to the remaining pieces of the lighthouse, so that if the Lighthouse Remains were destroyed, they'd die too. The person whose soul they bonded to the Lighthouse's body vvvv

became disgusting and nightmarish and twisted and all that. And....that's really all I have for this thing, story wise. I haven't actually worked on it in over 2 years so this stuff is still getting refined.
*When people on Aioniaare born, they get cool powers depending on the time, date, and month they were born. Some powers are good, others are bad as in kinda useless, others are Bad as in they let you bind people's souls to machines

**In Aionia's timeline, back in the 50s and 60s, Earth was becoming a nuclear wasteland and people were leaving on spaceships by the bucketload. And there their was only one, small, and kinda raggedy spaceship left called the Aeons. A couple humans left on it and crashed landed on what is now called Aionia...yeah

***Technically, Aionia isn't supposed to even exist. It was created when a goddess named Aeda accidentally smashed this Space Egg. Because the fact that Aionia is literally a mistake, it appears as some sort of "glitch" instead of an actual planet. The planet itself has frequent "glitches" which opens up rifts to weird inner worlds and the like. The Lighthouse worsened the planet's glitching.
