bwaha then laugh at me cause i dont have a tablet. x3 i think it depends on the person because i got my ds when i was younger & knew nothing about tablets. now that im older i cant afford that stuff since i barely have any money lmaooo ;3;

I actually got my original 3DS in 2OII, long before Colors was available for it, so no. I didn't get my 3DS for Colors.
In fact, I've used Colors less and less.

i didn't buy it for that purpose I bought it for fs3d but colors is like the only thing i use on it, I don't even play the games anymore
