im working on a negative portrait too. Its quite difficult to get the right colors.

Also, did you tilt your 3DS to do the 3D effect?

@Flame Blade: Yes I did. Tilting the 3ds to the side gives the proper 3d effect.

Very well done and clever too. I tried to do the trick so I can see it NOT negative 3D and I have to admit it still looks good, which means you did a very good job. Being upside down, the face reminds me of dr Emmett Brown (BTTF).
