I was struck by how isolated he would feel all the time. Even though he could go outside, I think he would feel a disconnect, especially from nature.

Yeah, hilarbees character seemed sad to me so I leaned heavily that way in my pic.

Glaive's story is really sad... He goes through a lot trying to connect with others, and at one point he gets very close to someone who inadvertantly leads him on and then practically abandons him. :[ :[ :[ And it's worse for him after that because he's had a taste of what he'd always wanted...
TT^TT ... now I want to write him a happy ending... But then it'd probably be one of those crack endings with rainbows and butterflies and everyone thinks he most likely died and went a better place... *runs away sobbing*

Hilarbees: I'm so glad you liked it! I really liked this character, so I really wanted to draw him. Sad characters are my favorite.
