Six-minute sketch by Goldkin

A short practice sketch, showing just how I set up new pieces. Six minutes.

I start with a frame, so I know where my subject is in the Rule of Thirds. Then I sketch very loose design shapes on the same layer. I then overlay bold outlines (thickness depending on the mood I'm going for). If this were continued, I'd then clear and paint in the same layer as my original loose sketch, color a basic background on a lowest layer, and refine.
