Today my grandmother found my dad's stepfather, Lane, dead. Exactly one week ago my great grandfather died and his funeral was on Thursday. I-I saw Lane there. He seemed fine. He gave my dad the first season of his show Master Tracker and we joked about giving it away for a Christmas present. I grew up around Lane. Every month we'd go up and see grandma and him. He showed me how to shoot a BB gun. He even blew up his eyebrows one winter when I was younger trying to defrost the pipes of his house. I even had plans this summer.... He was supposed to take my brother and I shooting. Now I see that's not going to happen. I cried a lot today. I'm not the kind of person to cry. I did today though. I even cried while writing this. I already miss him. My family is going up tomorrow to see grandma and help out. #vent #cry #cat #grief
