So really she should be shipped. (in my opinion)
But it is safe to assume that most Pokemon characters are straight unless stated otherwise. Mainly because of the whole possible controversty that would come about from it. Also I believe g.ay isn't as socially expected in Japan as here in the US. Atleast from what I heard.

Last time I checked, there's been next to no romantic subplots for ANY main story pokemon character. And not to mention, it's not like said character is gonna be like "i'm gay" outta the blue.

Not sure where exactly to start to reply to that... So I guess I'll start with an apology...
I'm sorry if my comments were offensive in anyway. I just have a distaste for ships because it feels like forcing people into a relationship to me... (probably just a personal problem)
But you are right, we don't really know her se'xuality. And it is a kids game, so of course we won't have too many romantic subplots. Gamefreak may not of even gave any thought to her se'xuality because of the nature of the game.

Mainly beacuse you covered regular shiping already (somewhat).
Also it may be because other g.ay ships have left a real bad taste for me... Mainly the KH Sora X Riku... People are so inistant on that one dispite all the evidence against it. All because Sora and Riku have a close relationship as friends, and guys can't just have a close relationship w/o it being g.ay!!
