I remember when Colors crashed (and nobody could post) a few months back, The last painting posted got 2 gold stars and was only a 6 minute doodle. So it kinda does matter how many people see your art.

The number of followers isn't directly tied to the number of likes your paintings get, as much as it is how likable your online personality is.
I've run experiments of my own. I tend to get more likes than some people with more than twice the follows I have.
