The topic of "Tracing" is treated ad a bigger problem than it actually is. (Thanks for the heads up. I'll see what I can do settle this) Keeping an open mind on the topic, Though you may not gain much skill as an original artist if you overlay and redraw someone else's artwork, you may still be able to learn new techniques this way. I would like to direct your attention towards @Rainybii. This artist had quite a bit of unneccisary trouble from people claiming her as a tracer, however, she used the skills she learned from those to become a wonderful artist, and is even remarked under "Featured artists" now, and has shown significant improvement.
