Welp, I've not actually done one either but I believe one person draws whatever, then you upload it to a shared account/your own account, then the other person log onto that account and downloads it to their SD card and finishes it. :3 But you have to turn off Colors before you download it or it won't work. (Although I'm not quite sure, this is what I've picked up.) I have a shared account if you'd really like to. :D I can't color anything very well, so you'll get to color everything. (You're amazing at that anyway!) Shall we try? Or does that sound too confusing? xD

So, it's pretty simple. :3 I'll go ahead and draw my half and upload it privately on my gallery, then you log in and download it. BUT REMEMBER(!), Turn the gallery off before you copy it, or it'll claim you didn't draw it. .-. I learned that the hard way. xD Do you wanna just do our main chara's? Also, did you get the pa.ss to my group account? I can just say it on here if ya' need me to.
