If I get the new 3Ds model coming out, can i just take the SD card out of this 3Ds and put it in the new one? Will all the 3Ds stuff on it be compatible?

No it uses a new sd card type (Mini??) idk really small. But it will have a save data transfer instead, just be sure the gb size from old to is big enough.

I wasn't aware you cound use adapters. o.o XD Just popping one in doesn't work without a system transfer though (It prevents people from sharing games basically) I asume as long as a main transfer is done (Like the NNID, FCs, Ect) you could pop the card in if it's the size the new one takes. (But it's just a guess)
