...got to the table, and when I sat down, my 3ds fell out of my pocket...and broke in half TTnTT ...Why did I not just set it down before I sat down? If I just would have done that, my 3ds would be fine. I wish I wouldn't have dropped it so much over about the past two or three years... Hopefully I'll get a new one soon, before this one completely goes out... I promise that I won't quit Colors because of this... I really hope this doesn't affect my chances of getting Flipnote 3D this month... Btw, to anyone that has had to get a new 3DS, did you have to buy all of your programs and games back, or were you able to just get them back since you already bought them? If I have to re-buy everything...it would probably take me a year to buy back all the stuff on it... I'll still use it for as long as I can, but I'll just be VERY careful with it. Something that I suggest to everyone on Colors: if you have a ton of sketches in your offline gallery...

...you should either post them privately, as WIPs, or get a backup account and post them all privately(what I did, and I'm also posting all of my paintings there, just in case someone reports me for whatever reason and gets my account deleted, which I REALLY hope never happens). I'll try to finish all of the art trades and other paintings I'm doing for other people, but I can't be sure when my 3DS will decide to go out. Right now, it's working completely perfectly, but I know evetually I'll probably make another mistake... I hope that's not soon though... The worse thing is that my 3DS is my most prized possesion, and once I lose it, if I don't get a new one soon after this one doesn't work, I'll only be able to draw on my school iPad(which I don't get to keep during the summmer). I would still be able to animate on my DSi, but I could only post real art on my Deviant Art. I don't want to get behind on my art and account on here though(which is why I don't usually...

Your 3ds has the Sd card right? Thats what Colors3d is set on, if you get a new 3ds, simply put ur old Sd in.

I had a problem with my 3ds! If I flipped the lid up, my 3ds would turn off. Because of this, I decided to get a 2ds instead. The 2ds is INCREDIBLY SMALLER than the 3ds. I had an XL. But even with a tiny 2ds, I can still co-operate. You could to a system transfer, which worked for me! But to do that both 3ds's need to be switched on. But since your 3ds broke in half, maybe get a 2ds! It's really small, but I've gotten used to mine. A 2ds is basically a 3ds without the 3d. And there's no lid that you can shut and close. If you have the SD card, maybe slot it into your new ds!

It isnt as simple as that, if you just put the SD card in it wont show any of the games/apps you have. you need to do a system transfer and then download all of your stuff again.
