Anyone who asks if his name is Cinos is making fun of the fact that your OC is just Sonic with a jacket, pants, and recolored gloves and eyes. Added to the fact that he's Sonic's long-lost brother. That's just cliche.

Maybe if you colored him a different color, and changed his hairstyle, he'd be a lot more original and people would stop making fun of him.

most charactors these days ressemble an origional sonic Charactor, just yours looks way too similar to sonic, try adding details(not clothing) that'll make them stand apart like colour, hair etc

Long lost siblings is too cliche. I mean, he's obviously based off of Sonic, and long lost brother is not original at all :( If you make them "long lost siblings", people won't like him better, they're gonna say your unoriginal.
