Yup, she's now canon. Seriously, she came out of nowhere and a 5 minute brainstorm and I'm already making references. Have some more of the dorky mutant Charon lab assistant.

Awesome! Hey, are those glasses some sort of supressor? Cause it doesn't look like she likes havin' them off. lol
Analog cufflinks? I can't quite remember what analog means, so... She somehow amplify her Soul energy with them?
Maybe they're weapons. XP Don't know how much you could really do with cufflinks though. XD

Nah, she actually needs them to see. They usually fly off her face when her ears involuntarily spring up, which is usually caused by trauma or social awkwardness; which in turn leads to more trauma and/or social awkardness. Poor baby.
Yes, her cufflinks amplify her energy. They also maximize the full use of her mutation. Though not for combat, their very useful for her work. Gliese recieved them as a gift from Tracey.
She treasures them dearly, since Tracey is her best friend. That and soul analogs are not available for average citizens.
...And being friends with the only person who can manufacture them works, too.
