Hhmm.. Well, there's lots of things to acquire inspiration from. Have you tried drawing fan art for some of the things you like? Or perhaps you could take a picture of the clouds in the sky (if there are any) and try drawing that. Monster Hunter has a lot of really cool looking dragons and wyverns. maybe you could look at those for inspiration on new OC designs. There's all sorts of fascinating things around, so long as you have the eye to search for them.
