D.A. Is an art site. While I may not be a fan of some of the things on it, I can still use the site to upload and sell art. I use my decernment.

1. "Deviant" Already doesn't seem good.
2. The pretty Much just made a Widely excepted Henta! website... I'm just saying...

1: Meh, I'm not a fan of the name in particular, though my mom had a more positive outlook on it. Basically the word at it's root means to deviate or be different. Thus the title could symolize artictic inividuality, if you follow.
Now I'm not trying to deffend their choice and again I would have gone with a different term. Though that is kind of how "artsy" people think sometimes with their weird & abstract ideas. XP And it's not really a bad word in itself, so I'm not all gun-ho against it. ... But I'm not for it ether. XP

2: While I am unaware of the term you are useing here, I asume from the context that you mean pornography and stuff of sort. As I said, da is a generic art site where you are in charge to moderate your own work. (Though they do have a report feature for things that violate the site rules.) There are some bad things on the site, however their are also some extreamly good things on their as well. And I can sell my artwork ,(including my Christian work), and promote myself as a profeshinal. It all depends on what you use the site for that makes it good or bad. I personally am carefull with my searches and avoid the bad stuff just like with all other sites and google searches.

I can relate to and respect your personal feelings regarding the site however. These are just my two cents. XP And I have found da to be extreamly useful in helping advace my art carrer. :)

I understand, A man I know (Rik Deschane, Co- Creator of Deadpool and Comic artist) uses it to sell his Comic art... And Henta! (Replaced i with !) is basicly Cartoon P0rnography... I respect your reasons... And I can tell you respect mine, As I did not mean to offend in any way (What types of art do you do? i.e. Sketch, Paint.)

My art? Well, I try out differnt types of stuff, (from 3D graphics to digital paintings and photography to name a few). Mostly digital art in general. You can see my stuff here, on the LEGO.com gallery and on my da page to get a basic idea.

Cool. (Photography is Brilliant, I love it,.. It might be the most Under-Rated art form, I enjoy working with Black and White photo's, And Classic Catholic buildings, Indianapolis, Indiana has Amazing buildings...)

@Koren: I do agree, I've always had a love for taking pictures and the art form of it. :D Whenever I have a camera, I'm always looking around and thiking about how to best take a photo for maxum artistic effect. XD I haven't taken any photos recently, though I have a whole lot of nice pic I've taken over the coarse of many years. :)
