EXAMS ARE OVER, YEAHHH
Just some fan art of my absolute FAVOURITE musical (short) film, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog! Haven't heard of it? Let me explain. It's a superhero/villain tragicomedy that centres around the title character, Dr. Horrible, who vlogs each week to the audience, telling us how he wants to join an evil team called the Evil League of Evil. He forms a love triangle with the town hero, Captain Hammer (whom Horrible is bent on destroying) over a girl named Penny. Horrible thinks modern society is corrupt and wants to restart to put other people in power, but after becoming Penny's friend, his view changes. He begins to debate over joining the League because his admission requires him to assassinate somebody, but he doesn't have the heart to do so.
Horrible is one of my favourite characters because of, well, his character! Despite being the villain, he doesn't want to harm anyone, he just wants to "fix" the world. I love how he goes through a phase of debate between getting his lifelong occupation and being with Penny. It's kind of sad because he almost makes that second decision, but then he's sent off the deep end.
The lyrics in the picture are from "Brand New Day". It's one of my favourite songs from the movie because it shows that Horrible goes beyond the point of no return after a big spoiler that I can't tell you about. The full thing is on YouTube, I definitely recommend this to anyone.
