Shiinu never met her parents since they both died once they gave her away to her Grandparents. When she got older, she brushed it off and said they kil.led themselves to avoid raising a baby.
In her family tradition, as a branch, she is trained to gaurd the main family, but since her eyes are golden[[ancestral inheritance]], she is trained to gaurd the official Heir[[which is Marietta]] Her teacher is Gupta whom worked as an SS for the family for a long time, though, she's really rude to him because the older man is very perverted and prefers to laze around.
After both Gupta and Michaelis translated the 5 pillars on the island that the family owns and gave the information to Shiinu, she began to have dreams of the family's start and history which she calls visions[[look for #MercuryC their family started off with Celeste and Xiao(Ha! spoilers!) followed by Jacque and an encantada(which is her ancestor)]]

It is said that those born with hazel green eyes in their family are destined to be leaders and those born with golden eyes are destined to be fierce warriors of the leaders.

However, as centuries passed, the chances of a baby born with either eyes were very low so they all depended with the Inbreeding within the family just so they could keep the tradition.

Years later, they stopped the tradition for inc.est were looked down upon by society.
Shiinu's generation is said to be the miracle generation because of the number of potential heirs and one warrior were born.
It is said that inheriting the golden eyes blesses you with inhuman strengh and the instinct of predator. They also inherit a bit of the power from their encantada ancestor, the power to cross dimensions and open the portal between the world where Celeste and Xiao came from and the world the current family is on[[Earth]]
