me too... my 3DS actually lasts a long time when it's blinking red. :u probably cause I keep it on lighting 3 and Power Save Mode.

sometimes on my old 3DS it would flash like crazy and I wouldn't notice it so my paintings wouldn't save :'u

i always have it on 5 with power save mode off
this rarely happens however
maybe cuz i always charge it
