Niederaussem power plant by Splotch
from life, refined a bit. I especially added some structures and the amblers to give an impression of the scale of this monster. The weather was getting really foggy and the scenery quite bizarre.

Another nice landscape. What is the sign in the foreground? The green boarder is something new to me. Are these common in northern Europe?

The sign marks a landscape conservation area and it´s even different within germany: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landschaftsschutzgebiet. I couldn´t aswer your question so I googled it. I´m always happy to learn new stuff ;-)
