Reminds me of those chicken creatures from Twilight Princess.
Very good colours, lighting and shading.
Thr details on the skin and the shapes of the body are quite nice, I like them very much.

Reply: Yeah, I base things off of one or two references as well. Can't really do much without looking at a spectacular sample.
