Jamal The Wyvern by Dragonologist

Radiant suggested I'd draw a character from the dragonology chronicles.
Garson suggested I'd draw a wyvern.
So I decided to combine the two and to draw the young wyvern Jamal.
This was so. Extremely. Hard.
The anatomy was so hard to get right (I'm still not happy with it
But it was fun. I love drawing in the dragonology style.
The background could be better though :/

A wyvern is a dragon with 2 legs and 2 wings. It doesn't have front legs/arms.
They are huge, live in africa and eat elephants and other big mammals (except giraffes for some reason).

I love how depict and well-shaded the scales are, and the wing texture looks really cool! >u<

I agree with Fadinglory about those textures, they look amazing. :) I think the background is great too, you're improving with them.

Have you ever heard of Pseudo-Wyvern? I've seen it used here and there, often times used when refering to Tigrex from Monster Hunter, or other dragons of its likeness, but there was nothing about it on Wikipedia, or any other info website I tried.

Wyverns have a special place in my heart.
You should get Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate when it comes out.
