Thanks ^-^ I consider it a speed paint if it was done in one sitting, but this took me two. Mostly because I had to edit the rose stem quite a bit.

Awesome painting. Funny thing is that I just watched a documentary about crows/ravens(I love animals) not too long ago. They are wicked smart( most likely the smartest of all the birds and on par with higher primates & dolphins). They have a very complex communication system and can use/invent tools. Very misunderstood and underappreciated animal.

Wow I can say this is my favorite of your draws!
the flower looks like a lotus-rose-something...normal...but the reaven look so realistic! i love how the ligth on the wing and eye gives life to them

Reply: It's actually not all that unique, I had a lot of inspiration from a very similiar source, a faery book I got when I was small, has very distorted faeries in it, some with hooves, wings, frog feet, skinny & fat, lots of variety. Not to mention a lot of my artwork is freehand, so im not drawing with any particular outcome in mind.
