@Linski: Thank you. The symbolism is a bit heavy handed, but I'm glad you like it. @Aello: Thanks for your comment. I'm glad you appreciate the composition.
Looking at this again, just noticed too that there's a lot of nice texture work here even on the wall it's not just smooth. I think sometimes that one of my issues is that I use the smooth brush a lot. I'm trying to get into the textured one more lately.
@JJMAwaken: Thanks for taking another look. That's quite a compliment. I almost always use the textured brush because it produces a more painterly effect. I suppose it depends on the desired result.
It's very interesting to look at your playback! This picture is, how can I tell you, maybe a little blue. Sometimes we have to speak or write to someone but we let time pass by. And words unspoken or unwritten are always there , somewhere.

nicely done! were you really looking at a still life or just imagining it? Either way nice details, lighting, etc

@JJMAwaken: Thanks for your comment. It's from imagination, but next time I think I'll use a photo. Some of the shadows and details seem off to me.

It's really great seeing you post so many new paintings here, especially with the time and quality spent on them.
Maybe I should try some still-life.

That is impressive, considering it was all from imagination. I particularly like that green ink well, and hoe the green lighting goes through it.
