I don't know if a few rocks and two stalactites would be considered a background, but I tried my best ºwº''.
Other than that, I've really liked Rattatas since gen 1. Before I was able to understand English, I randomly started playing pokémon and was unable to form a strategy. The only thing I knew were the type advantages/disadvantages. Which is why my Rattata had ice beam and shockwave. I didn't have the least idea of what were all those numbers called stats XD.

Love the shading!

I used to not understand stats when I was younger, too. The only number I used to consider as important was their level. I used to have a lot of trouble with the elite four.

Re: If memory serves me correct, my problem tended to be that my starter was the only powerful Pokemon on my team. I used to also tried to avoid trainer battles, so my starter wasn't overpowered either. XD
I now challenge every trainer I see.

Re: If you're curious of what I quoted, it's the translated lyrics to ''Reincarnation'' by Kemu Voxx. :U

Re: Haha! I would use the legendary Pokemon, too! I remember when I first beat the forth elite four member. It was in gen 3, and I was ecstatic. In my mind, I had finally beaten a Pokemon game, something I had been trying to do since gen 1. And then I learn for the first time that there is a champion battle following the elite four.

Re: If I had a lv. 1.00 Blaziken, the elite four would have been a breeze! XD
My lame success story involves purchasing tons of revives. I think in gen *, I expanded my "strategy" by buying full restores as well.
Gen * was the first one I beat. In gen *, I think I got stuck at the Pokemon Mansion. I did make it to the elite four in gen *, though.

Re: Well, Fire Blast is good, and I think Double Kick is decent at least. XD
That's ok. I'm pretty sure I once taught my starter Cut. I used to be more focused on getting to the next town than building a strong team. I had the horrible sacrifice plays as well. XD

Re: XD I used to always let my Pokemon evolve, but now I'm carrying a lv. 60 Grovyle on my team. I also have a lv. 100 Quilava in X. I switch them out for stronger Pokemon in multiplayer battles, but lately I have been intrigued by the idea of finding a strategy that allows me to use them. I keep Grovyle in my party for the story, though.
I used to treat tms as "too precious to use" items. XD

And now you made me listen to Last Note's songs. xD

Re: I used to use the master ball on the first legendary I saw. I now try to catch legendaries with anything but the master ball. In SoulSilver, this resulted in me throwing pokeballs at Lugia because I ran out of everything else. I actually got lucky in that particular endeavor, so I had a Lugia that I caught with a standard pokeball. I later battled Ho-oh several times in a row trying to do the same thing. XD

I just sucked at pokemon XD I didn't even know there were type disadvantages when I started!
Re: Yeah it's bad and thanks :3 Oh and I can't wait to see her story OuO

O.o I think the background fits super well in this pic! Great work!
In the games [mainly 'Platinum'], I used the guide book for Pokemon Battle Revolution [I still have no clue how I got it. XD]. From there, I slowly started to distinguish type strengths and weaknesses, progressing through the games. I took my time... ; )

Re: Oh no! Not ruins OnO I just restarted my town because I was 3 months behind actual time XD so I feel ya.

Re: Thank you!
I like using Quick Balls for the roaming legendaries, though I've also started stationary legendary battles with Quick Balls as well. XD
Hey, you never know. It just might work.

Re: That is a good strategy! It does take time to understand the strengths and weaknesses for each type [for me at least. X )], but it really pays off down the road! ; )

Ooo wow this looks so cool!! ;0; The shading looks excellent! Especially on the rocks and stalagtites!! :D
Yeah when I first started playing pokemon I had no idea about the stats either. XD I didn't give my pokemon very proper movesets. :'D
Re: Thank you! ;v;
Well, Over the Garden Wall is a mini-series cartoon that was shown on Cartoon Network. idk if it's available in your country but maybe you can watch it online somewhere? idk;;;
But I liked it a lot and I recommend giving it a watch if you can.

This is so cute. @-@
I always liked rattatas too, but the evolution used to scare me on the red version. xD
