"Hello, Vulcan!" Ramiel called as he trotted up to the serval. He'd seen him around enough times that he'd eventually picked up his name. The other cat smiled. "Hello, and what would your name be?"
"I'm Ramiel," the cub informed. "Named after a great angel who could see /everything/!" He puffed out his chest a bit.
"Ah, what big shoes to fill," Vulcan commented. "I'm named after the god of metalworking and fire." Ramiel planted his rump on the ground.
"Fire? But you're staying in /Lightning/ Empire. And...why do others say you belong to Air?"
"Because Air Empire is my home." Vulcan replied. "I'm only here for my blacksmith training. Once I've learned all I can from here, I'll move on to learn from another empire's blacksmith." Ramiel was looking at the serval in awe.
"So you can make some pretty cool stuff, huh?" Vulcan shrugged.
"I guess so..." He started modestly.
Ramiel leaped to his feet, fur fluffing out in excitement and a huge grin on his face. Hope and excitement sparkled in his oddly colored eyes.
"Do you think you could make my armor? I'm going to be an apprentice soon and I want something really cool!" Vulcan chuckled at the cub's reaction and nodded.
"I'll see what I can do."
