The Sumatran tiger is a rare tiger subspecies that inhabits the Indonesian island of Sumatra. It was classified as critically endangered.
Major threats include habitat loss due to expansion of palm oil plantations and planting of acacia plantations, prey-base depletion, and illegal trade primaly for the domestic market.

HOLY! Awesome work, as always! I love the stylistic approach you've been taking with animals - it's very unique and eye-catching. The way you colored this with that watercolor style in contrast with the dark outlines on the tiger really bring out the creature's ferocity. Just magnificent work all around.

Beautiful! I love the attention to detail, and the awareness you're raising about the species. I hate it when innocent animals are violated just for the sake of money.
